Terms of service

These terms cover your use of rompo.co.uk. Rompo is a trading name of Drivix Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 16886632. They are written in plain English on purpose: if something here is unclear, tell us and we will make it clearer.

What Rompo is

Rompo is a marketplace and booking agent. Field owners list their private, secure fields; dog owners book them by the hour. The contract for use of a field is between you and the field owner. Rompo arranges the booking, takes payment on the owner's behalf when payments launch, and passes it on minus our commission.

Fields and safety

• Field owners are responsible for their premises, including maintaining the field, fencing and access described in their listing.
• Field owners confirm to Rompo that they hold £1m public liability insurance for their field.
• Listing details such as fence height and features are provided by owners or compiled from public sources. Check the details that matter to you before booking, and inspect the field on arrival before letting your dog off the lead. You know your dog; suitability is your call.
• You are responsible for your dog and anyone you bring with you, for following the field's rules, and for leaving the field as you found it.

Bookings and exclusive use

A booking gives your household exclusive use of the field for the booked slot. Arrive and leave on time: the slot before and after yours belongs to someone else. Gate codes and exact directions, where used, are shared with your booking and are for you alone.

Cancellations

Cancellation windows are set per field and shown on the listing before you book. Cancel within the field's window and you pay nothing. Outside the window, the owner's policy shown on the listing applies. If a field owner cancels your booking, you get a full refund.

Unclaimed listings and removal

Some listings were compiled from publicly available information and are marked as not yet joined Rompo. Bookings for those fields, where offered, happen on the owner's own site and Rompo protections do not apply to them. If you own or manage an unclaimed listed field you may claim it free, ask us to correct it, or have it removed by emailing hello@rompo.co.uk. We action removal requests promptly.

Fair use

Do not misuse the site: no scraping at scale, no fake claims on fields you do not control, no abusive content in reviews, and no using a booking to run commercial activities the owner has not agreed to, such as group classes, without their permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law. Beyond that, Rompo's role is arranging bookings, and our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid through Rompo for the booking concerned. The field owner, not Rompo, is responsible for the premises.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service grows; significant changes will be flagged on the site. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: hello@rompo.co.uk.
