Privacy policy

Last updated 25 Jul 2026

This notice explains how Rompo handles your personal data. Rompo is a trading name of Drivix Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 16886632, and Drivix Limited is the data controller for the personal data described here. It is written to be read, not skimmed past, so it is short and in plain English.

What we collect and why

Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are performance of a contract (running your account and bookings), legitimate interests (operating and improving a small marketplace, preventing misuse), and consent where we ask for it specifically.

Cookies

Rompo uses only essential cookies. When you sign in, our authentication provider sets cookies that keep you signed in; they are strictly necessary for the service and are not used for advertising. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use third party analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy and the site will be updated first, with consent requested where the law requires it.

Where your data lives

Our database and authentication are provided by Supabase, hosted in the London (eu-west-2) region. When payments launch they will be processed by Stripe; Rompo will not store your card details. We share personal data with field owners only to the extent needed to honour a booking, for example the name the booking is under.

Listings from public sources

Some field listings were compiled from publicly available information so dog owners can find secure fields in one place. These listings describe places of business, not private individuals. If you own or manage a listed field and would like it updated or removed, email hello@rompo.co.uk and we will act promptly.

How long we keep things

Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request. Booking and payment records are kept as long as accounting law requires. Support emails are kept while they are useful and then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, and ask for your data in a portable format. Email hello@rompo.co.uk and we will respond within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so clearly on the site rather than quietly editing the date.
